OUR STORY
We started our Equipment Qualification and Process Validation activities in 2002, bringing in the experience of our technical director who, in the mid-1990s, developed, implemented and led this process at Merrell Lepetit (today Sanofi Aventis), after occupying several positions in Large Pharmaceutical Industries, in 2002 we gathered a competent multidisciplinary team and inaugurated Focum Engenharia e Validação with the objective of bringing our customers services as good as or better than the best in the world.
VALIDATION OR INNOVATION, THIS IS THE QUESTION
Always innovating, we brought in 2002 the first CRF21 Part11 equipment from Yokogawa, our partner for over 20 years, to Brazil. Only in 2010 with the RDC 17 the features and functionality of this system would be required by Brazilian law, however for Focum were fundamental. Almost 10 years ahead of national requirements. Also in 2002 we launched all our photographic record reports, the first validation company in Brazil to navigate these seas, a considerable innovation at the time, as sony mavica was launched in 1997 in the US and stored photos on floppy disk! All our effort and investment with one goal: services (in this case reports) as good as or better than the best in the world!

Despite the surprising technological innovations the greatest innovation was and is in the quality of service, the amount of study we need to develop the technologies and methodologies used in our processes, hundreds of books, hundreds of standards and thousands of hours invested in knowledge all within your reach. company! All information contained in our reports is the result of constant research and development and all, without exception, have references identified by Focum in our reports. After a few thousand trials conducted for a few hundred companies, we know we learn and improve every day by exchanging experiences with our customers and suppliers. Neither better nor worse than anyone, we are different.

The technology used and the method employed are very important, but the real innovation we always aim for is people, our employees are exhaustively trained to assist our partners in their processes, we proudly participate in the life sciences industry process but the main focus of our company are aware of our partners. We are aware and proud to participate in the production of medicines that often save lives, reduce suffering and allow, if produced with quality, priceless moments.
